2 Double Rooms in Sociable House Share in Brixton

We're looking for two new housemates to join our home as two of our current housemates are moving away :((((

A bit about us:

We're a house of 4 girls aged 26-30 from Ireland, England and Canada, working in education, sustainability, PR and events. We've all lived together for 3 years and are part of the same friendship group, so the house is very much a home rather than just a place people happen to live.

We're a VERY social house and are looking for people who'd like to be part of that! We do loads together whether that's pub quizzes, gigs, festivals, movie nights, board game & wine nights, restaurant trips, park days in Brockwell, hikes, padel, weekends away (we've even gone to Cyprus together!), the occasional house party and pretty much any excuse for a trip to the pub.

Of course everyone has their own friends and lives outside the house too, but we'd love to find people who are keen to get involved and become part of the gang rather than just rent a room and keep to themselves.

As we're currently 4 girls we're ideally looking for two guys to join the house and keep the balance but if you think you'd fit the vibe either way please still shoot us a message!

The house:

- Large Victorian house
- Big living room
- Kitchen
- Garden
- Two toilets
- Two full bathrooms (both with baths!)
- Cleaner every two weeks

Location:

- 12 minute walk to Brixton Station (Victoria Line)
- 12 minute walk to Herne Hill Station
- 2 minute walk to Brockwell Park
- 12 minute walk to Brixton Market and Herne Hill market
- Surrounded by loads of great pubs, cafes and restaurants (Effra Social and a Wedensday £4 pint at Bird House Brewery are our favs!)
- 5 minute walk to Sainsburys, with Tesco and Lidl nearby too

The rooms:

Both rooms are doubles and furnished.

Room 1: Expected rent £915-£990 pcm (photo will be uploaded soon - it doesn't currently have a desk but should be able to fit one for WFH)

Room 2: Expected rent £905- £970 pcm (not large enough for WFH desk)

We're currently reapplying for the house as a new group of six so final rent will be confirmed in the next few weeks.

Bills are usually around £105-£130 per month depending on the season.

- Available from 12th September.

We all moved to London and into a house together 3 years ago, so while we started off as housemates, we've become much more like a family away from home. We've built a really special house dynamic and would love to find people who are looking for the same thing :)

Because of that, we're ideally looking for people who can commit to staying for at least a year.

We'll be doing viewings over the next 2 weeks (virtual viewings also possible!).
