My two friends are heading off travelling, so I’m looking for two new housemates to join me in a spacious three-bedroom house in the Brixton Hill / Clapham area. I’m looking for people to move in on a permanent basis (the landlord will not allow short-term lets).

The house is on a residential road in Brixton Hill, around a 20-minute walk from both Clapham Common and Brixton town centre.

The house has:

* Two double bedrooms available (slightly different sizes)
* Two bathrooms – 2 showers and 1 bath
* Spacious kitchen and living area
* Dishwasher
* TV
* Back garden
* Plenty of shared living space
* Lots of natural light

The two bedrooms are slightly different in size, so the rent has been priced accordingly to keep things fair.

💷 Rent & bills

* Larger upstairs double room: £1,040pcm
* Smaller downstairs double room: £990 pcm
* Bills: approximately £150 pcm per person, covering council tax, water, energy, WiFi and TV licence

The total rent for the house is £3,100 pcm.

A little bit about me

I’m Elijah, 27, and the existing tenant. I work as a civil servant and have a mix of working from home and working in the office.

I’m a social guy and would ideally like to find housemates who are similarly friendly and up for occasionally hanging out, having a drink, watching something together etc, rather than simply being people who house share, however, own space is also very important and respected.

I’d also particularly like the house to be queer-friendly and LGBTQ+ inclusive. Everyone is welcome, but being open-minded, respectful and comfortable living in an inclusive household is important to me.
