Double room for rent Brixton Hill, 1 Nov move in

Looking for my replacement for a room in a house share for £800 before bill. I'm leaving as my visa is unfortunately running out.

The roommates:
- Lauri (29 turning 30 in Nov) - works as a Design Manager, originally from Scotland.
- Alissa (31) - works in TV/documentary industry, originally from Carlisle.

Lauri has lived in the flat for 5 years now. Alissa since May 2024. The girls have known each other since their school days and so you wouldn't be living with people who have met each other through Spare Room (not that there's any problems with that).

In terms of the flat’s atmosphere, we have a very open-door policy. Strays and friends alike are always welcome. We have friends from all over the world, as well as from different parts of England, who come to visit and sometimes stay for a week or two. So the flat can be quite lively at times, but it’s all very relaxed and there’s never any pressure to participate.

We have dinner parties, movie nights, drinks, spontaneous hangs and generally enjoy having people around. At the same time, we all have our own social lives and routines, so it’s not a constant party house.

We’re a free-the-nip, LGBTQ+ friendly household and are looking for another woman who is easy-going, open-minded and comfortable with a social home. Ideally, you’re someone who enjoys having people around, but also respects the space and can keep the house relatively tidy.

Admin:
We have a bi-weekly cleaner, we put money into a kitty (£10 a month) and with utilities it all comes to about £975 a month. New tenant will need to be referenced, sign the tenancy agreement, pay the first months rent and their share of the 5 week security deposit (£692)

Leasing agent has advised that the new tenant will need to accept the property the way it is because the landlord is not willing to carry out any refurbishment work in the property.
