Cosy 1 bedroom flat near Brockwell Park

Looking to rent out our cosy 1 bedroom flat as my partner and I are unfortunately splitting up. We bought the flat together two years ago, after living there as renters since 2022.

About the flat

The flat is split-level, which makes it feel super spacious and like a real home. It’s top floor - the living room/kitchen is at the top in the loft conversion with windows both side and the bedroom and bathroom are down a set of stairs.

The flat faces east/west so gets heaps of sun in the morning especially, it’s lovely in autumn or winter when the sun is rare!

Since buying we’ve spent time renovating and upgrading - adding shelves, a ceiling-mounted hanging rack, extra storage under the bed, new wardrobes… It’s been freshly repainted too and we just got the boiler replaced.

The flat comes furnished although we’re open to discussing what you want to keep / leave.

There’s trains from Herne Hill (20 mins to central London) which are great for commuting, or Brixton tube and the Victoria line is 15 minutes’ walk down the hill.

We have a space in a cycle parking space that we could pass on for an additional fee.

The area

The flat is 5 minutes’ walk from Brockwell Park - you can enter the resident lottery for free tickets to summer festivals. It’s on a quiet residential street with an active whatsapp group and generally good vibes. We also get on well with the neighbours in the house who are super friendly.

There’s lots of shops, cafes, restaurants within 10 minutes on Brixton Hill, and even more if you walk the 15 minutes to Herne Hill which has the market every Sunday.

For food shops, there’s a big Sainsbury’s 10 minutes away, a Tesco Express at the end of the road, or a Lidl and Tesco Superstore a 20-minute walk away. Plus all the world food stores in Brixton Market which are so great to have!

Who we’re looking for

The flat would suit a couple or young professional - we’re looking for someone responsible, tidy and kind :) It’s a hard time in both our lives so want to know we can trust you and not worry about things too much.

We’re up for you having pets (we had a cat).
