Big double bedroom |Friendly house |Brockwell Park

We have a double room available in our spacious three storey house in Herne Hill/ Brixton. The house is located next to brockwell park in a gated community. It’s a 10 minute walk from Brixton centre and tube and a 10 minute walk through the park to Herne Hill train station (where there’s a market every Sunday). Super good transport links to surrounding areas and central London (Blackfriars, Victoria, Waterloo)

You’ll be living with 3 housemates Chris (32), Abbie (31), Stan (31).

Chris loves to paint and keep active running and cycling. You’ll usually find Abbie at a music gig or at hot pod. Stan finds the coolest hang out spots in London and loves the cinema. We’re a laid back bunch who like to catch up in the evenings but also like doing our own thing.

There is a large and comfortable living room for evenings in front of the telly. We have a conservatory that looks over the veggie patch we’ve tended and loved this year! The kitchen is modern (dishwasher etc), house is heated, showers hot and good pressure. Landlord is responsive and helps sort anything quickly.

The available room is on the top floor, next to the bathroom, looking out over the garden. The room comes furnished with double bed, chest of drawers, two side bed units, double built in wardrobe. The room is very large and is so peaceful as it looks over the garden and beyond that is Brockwell park, so it’s very quiet with zero traffic noise (aside from the parakeets).

The move in date will be around 12th December to align with rent, but there is some flexibility if needed.

Rent is £860. Bills come to around £100 each per month. Council tax band is H. Deposit is £860.
