This is an opportunity to live in a beautiful flat in a quiet residential street with stunning roof terrace.

Landlord living in only occasionally:
My wife, Hannah, and I will be there with our beautiful cat between now and Christmas, but after that you will have the whole flat to yourself a lot of the time as we will be based in Scotland. Hannah and I will come to stay separately or together from time to time, for a weekend or a business meeting.

About the apartment:
I bought this lovely flat in 2016 and spent a few months completely refurbishing it. Everything down to the doors were brand new!

What I love is that it is in the heart of Brixton (5-10 mins stroll from the tube and round the corner from the village), but it is as quiet at night as being in the middle of the countryside! The flat is bright, sunny with a very positive vibe to it, and the neighbours are lovely too.

It is round the corner from the Ritzy Cinema and also just a few mins' walk from the gorgeous Brockwell Park and Lido.

The available room comes with the near sole use of the 2nd bathroom (bar very occasional visitors), because Hannah and I have an en suite, so it is like having your own bathroom. It is furnished with two chests of drawers, bedside table and a small built-in wardrobe, with more storage space under the bed. There is some storage space in the loft too.

Hannah and I are very laid back and have lived with a fair few different people over the years who have all become friends. I work in education/charity, and Hannah is a consultant in public affairs and media training. When we are home, very occasionally, we love to have a drink on the terrace and cook a nice meal.

We are looking for a laid back, clean and tidy tenant who would enjoy being part of the very friendly community on our road.

It is £1,600 (or £1,800 for a couple) including bills - everything you might expect including a cleaner every two weeks and fast broadband. It is cheaper than it would be if you were renting the whole flat because Hannah and I will occasionally be home.
