Large ground-floor double room (approx 3.5m x 3.5m), in lovely, large Victorian terrace house in quiet low-traffic neighbourhood street off Brixton Hill, 12 mins' walk, 3 mins by bus from Brixton tube/15 mins' walk from Herne Hill overland station and 5 mins from Brockwell Park (great for jogging, also the lido). Largish Sainsbury's 3 mins' walk. I'm the owner, from York originally, a lawyer, one other male housemate. Looking for male or female third housemate but sorry, no couples. The room has a double bed, wardrobe, bookshelves, desk (not pictured) is available if required. High ceilings with original cornicing. Painted white. Large window with blackout blind looks out onto quiet back garden (see pics). Table and chairs in garden in summer. Rent includes all bills. You'll also be able to use the living room and dining room (both pictured) and there is a kitchen (pictured) and utility room with drying space. Two bathrooms. Parking on the street (permits sold by the council). Not a party house! Looking for somebody self-contained, quiet, tidy. Working from home two days per week maximum. We are both busy but enjoy good conversation and occasionally share a meal or going out for a drink together.
