Double room by Regents Canal and London Fields

I’m moving out of my wonderful flat at the end of July to move in with my partner, so my bright double room in our lovely three bed is becoming available. The flat is right on the Regent’s Canal, with greenery on both sides, and less than five minutes from Broadway Market and London Fields. Haggerston Overground is about 10 minutes away, and Hackney Central and London Fields stations are around 15 to 20 minutes.

The flat is modern, well kept, and furnished, with a big living area and a proper kitchen. The bathroom and toilet are separate, which genuinely means no morning queues. It’s a calm, comfortable home, and the landlord and letting agent are very responsive, which makes everything easier.

The room is a good sized double with loads of natural light and plenty of storage, including a huge built in wardrobe that fits everything. Ideal if you like a tidy, uncluttered space and birdsong in the summer. Plus I will be selling my double bed as part of the move-in package.

You’d be living with Ben and Alex, two queer young professionals in their early thirties who want a friendly, warm, and consistent flatmate. Any partying is kept strictly out of the flat, and they really appreciate someone who cleans up after themselves and chips in with communal cleans so the place stays as nice as it is. Extra points if you love houseplants and watching TV together. Extra extra points if you like a glass of wine with your flatmates.

The street is quiet, but you’re seconds from the canal, London Fields, Broadway Market, cafes, pubs and all the good stuff. There’s also an incredibly cute cat next door who occasionally runs in like she owns the place.

We’re ideally looking for someone LGBTQ+ or LGBTQ friendly, late twenties and up.
