Room available in friendly house near London Fields, Broadway Market and the Canal. Amazing location and warm welcoming vibe.
The Nitty Gritty: Rent is £960 before bills, which are usually another £150, including a weekly cleaner (every Tuesday).

The room is available from September. Ideally, we are looking for someone who wants to stay for a long time and make this place a home.

The House: A 3 story five bedroom house that you'll be sharing with 3 women and 1 non-binary person. The house has 2 bathrooms (shower & toilet in each), a huge open plan kitchen with two fridges (plenty of space), cozy living room and a garden with BBQ, picnic table and also a pear tree that we try to bear the fruits of in summer! House comes with all the amenities such as dishwasher, washing machine + dryer, microwave, air-fryer, toaster, etc

Flatmates: All in their late 20s/early 30s. French, Chilean and Spanish nationalities so you're getting a great mix of people! We all have different jobs in hospitality, tech, charity and film production. We enjoy sharing a few drinks, good chats and a laugh, people keep quite busy but we always find time to catch up. We are also tidy and generally keep the house a nice, chill place to be. In essence, we are looking for someone who would like to join our friendly home, rather than someone who is just looking for a room in a house, while acknowledging we all have our separate lives too.

Who we are looking for: someone preferably in their late twenties or thirties, who is social (friends welcome), but not a massive party animal, clean and tidy and contributes to the house chores, and some alignment on being pro trans rights, queer, inclusion, etc. :)

The Room: Medium/large room, loads of natural light, comfy double bed (with underneath storage!), wardrobe, chest of drawers and a big window that looks out on the back garden. Quiet street = peaceful sleep. Desk, open shelves + bedside table are not included, but replacements to be negotiated with landlord

The area: 30 seconds to the canal + corner shop, 3 mins to Broadway Market (cafés + restaurants galore), 5 mins to London Fields, 2min to the bus stop, 7 mins to the Lido, 10-15 mins to the overground.

The closest stations are Haggerston, London Fields, and Bethnal Green (but also 2min walk to Bus 236 to either Hackney Wick or Finsbury Park)

Landlord is cool and has a very easy-going attitude. He is responsive to our requirements.
