Room mate sought for a chilled and cosy flat on the Honor Oak estate in Brockley - 15 mins walk from Peckham Rye, Nunhead, Telegraph Hill and 5-10 mins from Crofton Park and Brockley stations. Slap bang between loads of gorgeous green spaces and down the road from One Tree Hill/Honor Oak cemetery for lush walks.
Think big squishy sofa, dining areas for meals together, ample working from home space, and good light for reading in.
Bills come to an average of ~£250 each per month (broadband, service charge, council tax, insurance, gas, electric and water) but these are included and it's around £650 in rent for the room. I'm also considering swapping rooms for anyone who'd need a bit more space - let me know if you'd like a larger double and that would be around £1100 including bills.
Absolutely love my current pal who moved in over a year ago, and we've had a gorge time living together but he's finding a place with his girlfriend, so looking for someone new to share telly watching, meals and gossip with.
You'll also be living with 5kg of unadulterated mammalian cuteness. Mister Baby, my British Shorthair cat is looking for a new pal to follow around and expose his bellie to. He is hypoallergenic (to most) and possesses a stunning personality. He stays in my room overnight, so no early wake up calls, but I may need you to give him his evening meat slop or biscuits occasionally if i'm out.
We have gorgeous pals who live in walking distance, in our neighbours, and on the same estate.
Me: I own the flat (and it's hefty mortgage, thnx Liz Truss) and moved in about 18 months ago. I've done most the DIY myself. The bathroom could do with an aesthetic update eventually, but it's freshly painted and all in perfect working order.
I work a 9-5 in climate action for the local council, and work from home 2-3 times a week, but can be flexible depending on your needs. On weekends I'm usually up for going to a protest, going out dancing, or seeing friends. No worries if not your bag but pro 🏳️⚧️🇵🇸 is a must. I'm Jewish and secular, but do love hosting a Friday night dinner once a month or so.
I love an 10.30/11pm weeknight bedtime and would hope to find someone who does too, but am equally very sociable, and love to cook for whoever I'm living with, introduce them to my pals, and go for spontaneous pints at the many incredible nearby pubs (Ivy House is our local, with cute wine bar Joyce a near second, and many more *chef's kiss* spots in close proximity)
