Please note my home is available for 2-3 nights per week and not on a Monday - Friday basis.

My home is a 3 bedroom flat with its own private entrance. It is situated on one of the most sought after streets within the Brockley Conservation Area. It is on a quiet residential street overlooking the lovely open space of Hilly Fields Park. There are no parking restrictions on our avenue or on nearby roads.

The flat is light and spacious. It has a downstairs toilet and a large open plan kitchen leading to a dining / living room.

The modern fitted kitchen has a fridge / freezer, oven, air fryer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.
The glass sliding patio doors in the living room look out on to what is probably one of the most wonderful views in Brockley, where you can watch amazing sunsets over London.

The flat has high speed Fiber internet.

There is a deck with a garden table, parasol and chairs. There is a separate garden area below the deck. There is space to leave a bike under a bike cover in the garden.

On the first floor there is a bedroom and a small bathroom with a shower over the bath.

On the second floor there is a second bedroom. ( lodger's room). Next to that bedroom there is a large studio room which has a bed settee. This room has two desks, an armchair and an original working Victorian fireplace.
Due to the nature of my work I sometimes require exclusive access to the downstairs living room. At these times ( and others) the studio is available for your use.

Hilly Fields Park has lovely views across London and Kent. You can see Canary Wharf, The 02 and even the Emirates Cable Car. Parkrun operates on a Saturday morning and there are a variety of outdoor keep fit and exercise classes running throughout the week. The park has a cafe, tennis courts, a basketball court, exercise equipment, play area, nature reserve and cricket and football pitches. It is part of the Green Chain walking route.

We have excellent transport links.
Brockley station is about a 10 minute walk but there are often lots of Lime bikes around.

The station is served by London Buses routes 171, 172, 484, and the night route N171.

Crofton Park Station, Ladywell Station and St John’s Station are also about a 15 minute walk away.
Lewisham train station and DLR are less than a 20 min walk. (Or hop on a bus)
The 484 bus stop is very close by with buses running to Lewisham and Denmark hill / Camberwell Green.

Nearby attractions:
Lewisham Glassmill Swimming / Leisure Centre - less than 15 min walk.
The iconic Grade II listed Rivoli ballroom is a short walk away. The Rivoli hosts cinema screenings and dance events.
The Brockley Jack Studio Theatre is also a short walk away.
Brockley has lots of pubs, restaurants and wine bars.
Independent shops and small supermarkets are within walking distance.
Greenwich Park, Greenwich market and the Royal Observatory / Planetarium all within an easy commute.

Sorry - strictly no smoking and no pets.
I generally keep my house very clean and tidy so I would expect a flatmate to be very respectful and to definitely clean up after yourself in shared spaces.

I am friendly and outgoing but I am very busy with lots of activities. In September I will also be busy studying. My home would suit someone who is very independent.
I am a vegetarian and would ideally prefer another vegetarian.
I sometimes look after my friend's very friendly elderly Schnauzer.

This is initially a 3 - 4 month contract with the possibility of extending on a rolling contract.
