Look no further jaded SpareRoom browser, here's a new room to call home that will fulfil all your leafy south London dreams...

• We're a couple looking for someone to physically (and maybe emotionally) fill our 3rd bedroom.
• We work as a scientist and midwife, though rarely from home, so the house is often vacant (and therefore lovely and peaceful) during the week.
• We’ve had the kitchen and living space downstairs extended and refurbished, making it a prime open-plan area for cooking, eating, and socialising, while the living room boasts a TV with plenty of space for movie nights.
• We share the main bathroom, but there's also a separate toilet downstairs, (thankfully) avoiding any arse-clenching delays for your morning shit if someone is taking their time in the shower.
• We also have two cats: Penguin (~6) and Spike (~6 months), so it helps if you don't mind sharing some of the feeding duties (and cuddles).

The room is a comfortable, north-facing medium double room, which has carpeted flooring, a built-in wardrobe with plenty of storage, and a peaceful view overlooking our unkempt garden. It comes equipped with a good-quality bed and desk.

🚗
We have our own private off-street parking space at the house, but neither of us drive (license pending), so the spot is all yours if you need somewhere to park your car. If you prefer to cycle, then there is plenty of space in the house or garden to leave it when you're not getting pelted by the hectic commuter traffic.

South East London gets a bad rep for transport, but if you don't mind a short walk, we're nestled between great connections:
• 5–10 mins to St John's Station or Ladywell (London Bridge).
• 10–15 mins to Brockley Station or Crofton Park (Overground).
• 15–20 mins to Lewisham Station (DLR).
