Dbl room avail in a beautifully converted church

Sadly, my current housemate is heading back to Scotland, so I’m looking for someone lovely to move into the second bedroom of my gorgeous converted church flat in Bow.

I’m hoping to find someone who is friendly, independent and looking for somewhere that genuinely feels like home rather than just a place to sleep. Someone who has their own life, friends and interests, but who also enjoys the occasional chat over a cup of tea, Sunday walk, pub trip or takeaway on the sofa.

The flat is very relaxed, clean and easy-going. Definitely not a party house, but a warm and welcoming home.

A little about me

I’m Ashleigh, in my mid-to-late 30s, and I work as a knitwear designer. I split my time between the office and working from home. Outside of work, I enjoy yoga, catching up with friends, dog walks, cosy evenings in and discovering a good local pub.

You’ll also be living with Nico, my cute (and very enthusiastic!) dog, who loves making new friends and will definitely be excited to see you when you get home.

The Room

The room is a really generous size and comes furnished with:

* Bedside tables and lamps

There’s plenty of storage, and enough space to add a desk if you work from home.

The Flat

The flat is spread across two floors and has lots of character thanks to its converted church setting.

Downstairs:

* Large open-plan kitchen, dining and living area
* Small private patio garden
* Downstairs WC
* Space to store one bike indoors

Upstairs:

* Two bedrooms
* Main bathroom (which would primarily be yours, as my room has an en-suite shower)

Location

The flat is in a fantastic spot in Bow with great transport links:

* 5-minute walk to Devons Road DLR
* 15-minute walk to Mile End and Bromley-by-Bow stations
* 30-minute walk to Canary Wharf
* Around 35 minutes’ walk to Victoria Park, with a lovely canal route the whole way

* £1,260 per month, including all bills
* One month’s deposit required
* Minimum 6-month tenancy
* Available immediately, with flexibility on move-in dates

I’m ideally looking for someone in their 30s to early 40s who is respectful, tidy and looking for a home they can settle into.
