Bright, spacious double room with a private bathroom in a calm, clean two-bedroom, two-bathroom flat in Zone 2.

The flat is about three or four minutes walk from Bromley-by-Bow station.

You would be sharing with just one person, it is quiet, homely, and not a crowded flatshare.

The rent for the room is a £1000 per month, with bills on top. Bills vary slightly depending on heating, but usually average around £350 per month for the whole flat, and you will pay 50% of that.

That brings the total monthly cost for the room to around £1175 typically. You will be charged for the rent and the bills separately.

The room is a comfortable double bedroom with a double bed and good amount of storage.
While it is not directly en-suite, you would have your own large private bathroom with a standing bath and a toilet.

The flat is furnished and fully equipped with electric appliances.

Your room includes a double bed, mattress, large wardrobe and a smaller drawer, and it fits a smaller desk if needed.

The flat has a spacious open-plan kitchen and living room with a TV and sofas.
There is also a desk in the living room area that you are welcome to use.

There is a large balcony overlooking the River Lea, which is one of my favourite parts of the flat.

The building is gated and has a concierge and parking space, which I'm not using. The flat is on the sixth floor and has a lift.

The room is vacant from 1 of July.

You would be sharing the flat with me, Eszter, a 31-year-old journalist and comedian.

I am looking for someone respectful, reasonably tidy, and considerate, who wants a relaxed, adult household.

I'm happy to consider pets.

Short-term and part-time arrangements are welcome for a different price. Please clearly mention this in your message if this is what you are interested in and include the details of your preferred arrangement.

You will be on a lodging contract with me, but I'm not the owner of the flat. The landlord is fully aware of and happy with the arrangement.

I'm looking for someone who would sign the contract by early to mid-June, because I'm busy after that. The contract starts on 1 July.
