Flatmate Wanted for Islington flat from 4 January

Double Room

Hi! I’m looking for a clean and tidy professional female (27-35yo) to join the lease and move into a lovely double room from the start of January (4 January 2027), as my current flatmate is sadly moving out.

🏡 The flat is very well connected, it's a 5 minute walk from Caledonian Road station, and a 10 minute bus to either Camden Town for the Northern Line or Finsbury Park for the Victoria Line. It's about a 30 minute walk to Kings Cross, with plenty of buses to Kings Cross and central, Angel, Highbury & Islington, etc. The area is safe and peaceful, despite how close we are to the main roads.

🛏️ The room is furnished with a double bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe, mirror and lots of space. There's enough space in the room for a full-size desk too. The room also has a smaller built in cupboard/wardrobe for other storage. The living room and kitchen are fully furnished too. The room looks out onto a gorgeous church just across the road - a surprisingly peaceful spot in Zone 2!

👯‍♀️You’ll be living with me, I’m a 31yo professional who works in higher education. I enjoy hanging out with friends, going for walks, exploring museums and galleries, watching the football, and doing cute activities, but also love chill evenings in the lounge watching TV post-work. I normally work 3 days a week in the office, and can be found pottering about on the weekends. I'm ideally looking for someone who's similar, down to hang and chill, but likes their own time too.

💰 Rent is £980 per month, and bills (gas & electricity, water, council tax, wi-fi) of around £180. The deposit is £1065, and the lease is managed through an agency.

🛍️ The flat is in a peaceful pocket of Islington, perfect if you like quiet surroundings but want to be close to central London. There’s a Sainsbury’s and Nisa 24hr by the station, and its an under 10 minute walk to the Waitrose on Holloway Road. It's a older converted house, sharing the building with 3 other flats.
