Big double room with garden

The room

We're looking for a new housemate in our 6 bed house share in Camberwell. Available from early June.

The room

The room is spacious and bright, facing east and overlooking a lovely community garden. It comes with bits of furniture, and we have a very flexible landlord open to furniture requests if you are missing anything. There is a one-month rent deposit.

The household

We're 3 gals and 2 guys from the UK, Norway, Spain and Poland working in the arts, retail, NHS, charity, and local government. Although our schedules vary, we tend to meet up in the kitchen for a chitchat, cheeky bbq's, relax in the garden, or play with the neighbour cat. We also frequent the local pub on occasions.

Everyone in the house has different schedules and appreciates living in a peaceful atmosphere. We are not a party house and to maximise our beauty sleep, we have quiet hours from 11 pm on the weeknights.

The house

We have one bathroom with shower on the second floor and a separate toilet and shower room on the ground floor. The kitchen is a decent size, with lots of gas hobs for keen cooks, fridge and freezer space. We also share a living room/conservatory which houses some of our many plants.

Most importantly, we have a gorgeous garden kept in exceptional shape by one of our housemates, which means fresh veggies throughout the summer. There's also space to store a bike.

Location

- Super close to Burgess Park.
- 5 min walk to Camberwell Green.
- 20 min walk to Denmark Hill station
- 3 min to nearest bus stop taking you quickly to central London
- 10 min walk to lots of nice pubs, Lidl, Falafel & Shawarma etc..

The bills

Usually comes to around £80 a month, not included in the monthly rent.

About you

We're looking for a professional who likes to keep things clean and tidy, and socialise once in a while. We share most of our kitchen items, and ask that everyone cleans up after themselves to keep the communal spaces feeling welcoming and homey.
