Lovely Homeshare in Camberwell

PLEASE NOTE: THE HOUSEHOLDER IS SEEKING A FEMALE SHARER

This Homeshare placement is with an 83-year-old retired doctor based in Camberwell, South London. She is a friendly and independent lady who is now looking for some additional support at home, shared across two homesharers. Her current sharer has been with her for four years, reflecting a positive and stable arrangement.

In exchange for low-cost accommodation of £240 per month, the householder would appreciate approximately 10 hours of support per week. This would include:
• Shopping and putting deliveries away
• Light housework
• Overnight presence (five nights per week – no active support required overnight, just being in the home and the number of nights can be divided amongst both sharers)

There may also be occasional opportunities to accompany the householder on outings if your schedule allows.

The home is bright, spacious, and well-located, close to local shops, the high street, and excellent transport links. You will have a furnished double bedroom.
The ideal sharer will be:
• Female (as requested by the householder)
• Aged 21+
• Friendly, kind, compassionate, and tidy
• Able to commit to a consistent routine (someone who does not work very late hours would be preferred)

The householder remains largely independent and manages many tasks herself though would like some additional support with light tasks.

Requirements:
• A recent DBS check (or ability to complete one if successful )
• Two references covering at least 2 years
• Completion of an application form

Fees:
• £240 per month (Homeshare fee)
• £240 deposit
• £45 DBS fee (if applicable and you are successful )
• £30 monthly contribution to bills

The minimum term is 6 months, though a longer-term arrangement is preferred.
