Cozy double room in Camberwell flat

We’ll have a double room available in our Denmark Hill flat (Zone 2) from late May/ early June and are looking for someone friendly to join our home.

The room comes with a double bed, double wardrobe, and height-adjustable desk. It also has its own eero router for super speedy wifi, so you can work from home comfortably.

You’d be sharing the flat with two women (26 & 32, both researchers though in different fields) and one very relaxed cat, Mia (she’s four and mostly just supervises from the sofa).

The flat itself has a shared lounge with a sofa, dining table, and TV, a separate kitchen (with washer/dryer and dishwasher) and a bathroom/shower. We’re not a party house but do like to hang out sometimes for films, dinners, or games in the park.

Rent includes most bills (internet, council tax, water), with heating paid separately (has always been under £25 a month in summer months, and usually under £50/month in winter).

Denmark Hill, which is an 11-minute walk away, is handy for getting around: trains get you to Victoria in 10 minutes, Blackfriars in 12, and Canada Water in 13; there is a bus stop just outside the flat with frequent buses to Oval, Kennington, Brixton, Peckham, all under 20 minutes away, or direct to London Bridge or Battersea in about 25.

We do our best to keep things tidy, but we’re not obsessive about it—life happens! We’d love someone who’s happy to pitch in and help keep the place comfortable for everyone.
