Female Housemate in Camberwell

We have a room available in our lovely home available from 1 August! Room is £489.25 + bills.

We're looking for a mature, sociable, kind-hearted person to join us in our huge house in Camberwell, near to South London Gallery and a short walk 10min walk to all the fun of Peckham Rye and Camberwell Green.

Ideally we're hoping for someone identifying woman/femme/nb 27+, to balance out the house. We like our house to feel like a home so someone who is happy to get stuck in and be part of the group is a must, but we do totally respect the need for space too. As we’re all living in the same space a lot more, cleanliness is really important so we can all enjoy the space comfortably.

There are 7 other housemates - a range of scientists, musicians, design people, copywriters and pysiotherapists from London and around the world. Fear not - we're not a party house, although we do have the occasional celebration and/or impromptu drinks. We also like to go out for a drink, have family dinners, and watch movies on the projector together. We’re LGBTQ+ friendly.

There’s is plenty of space with a massive kitchen, a big garden and living area and even a small spare studio/music/art room.

The room is a super cute, really bright double on the third floor with a nice bathroom right next door (shared with 1 other person - they're clean!) There is a lot of stairs so will be tricky for those with mobility challenges. The room can fit a desk, dresser, etc but would be better for someone with less stuff.

The rent is £489.25pm with a £420 deposit. Bills are usually around £100 per month which includes a weekly cleaner. There are no other fees.

The room is available from August 1 and you would be expected to pay the deposit on confirmation. The contract is basically on a rolling basis, we've had the lease for 9yrs+ and have a great relationship with the landlord.
