Double room in Camberwell

Hello! Sadly our lovely housemate is moving out so we're looking for a new recruit to join us in our wonderful home in Camberwell/Peckham. The tenancy will begin on August 6th, with rent at £733/month plus £130 bills (which is used to pay for water/ electricity/ gas/ wifi/ council tax (band E)/ a bi-monthly cleaner and shared household items e. g. oil, cleaning products etc.).

About the house: super spacious, with a large family kitchen and a separate open plan living + dining room - so we never feel on top of eachother even when all 5 of us are home. Has a shared bathroom with great water pressure and underfloor heating, plus a separate second toilet. The road is peaceful but well connected, equidistant to Peckham Rye or Denmark Hill overground (~12 minute walk if you've got long legs, 15 if not), or easily bus/bikeable to Oval/Vauxhall for the tube. Our landlord Russ lives in Hong Kong and is the nicest landlord any of us have ever encountered in London. He does a great job of maintaining the property, fixes things quickly and charges incredibly reasonable rent!

About the room: at the back of the house on the second floor with a garden view - gets the most sun in the morning. Comes partly furnished with the option of being fully furnished (with a huge SUPER king bed with mattress, desk, storage unit, chair etc).

About us: We are four women who either met at school (Nikki/Susie), through old housemates (Kata) or through Spareroom (Katie). We love living in Peckham/Camberwell and live close to local delights such as the infamous Toad Bakery, Mondo Sando and South London Gallery. We have a mix of work situations between WFH and going in to the office. We are a very friendly, chilled and clean bunch with a range of interests and jobs (advertising, finance, architecture). We love to hang out at home in front of some trashy reality TV or whilst having a tipple in the garden but also have independent social lives outside of the house.
