Large Double in Camden Town Maisonette

The room

A large furnished double room in a two-floor flat in Camden Town. We're a household of two, Will and Lucy, looking for a third housemate.

The Room:
A large double, furnished as pictured: double bed, desk and chair, chest of drawers, wardrobe, mirror and curtains. The room has been home to a dog for the past year, so it may not suit anyone with pet dander allergies. The carpets will be professionally deep cleaned before move-in.

The Flat:
A split-level maisonette with its own front door. The kitchen has a washing machine, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer and plenty of storage, including a pantry. There are two bathrooms: a toilet downstairs and a full bathroom upstairs with a big bath and shower over it.

There's a private garden. It's only accessible through Will's room, but we all sit out there when the weather's good. There's also a small spare room (Bedroom 3 on the floor plan), currently used for drying clothes. The landlord is adding a small sofa and coffee table to turn it into a lounge. It also provides extra storage space as it has a built-in wardrobe.

The landlord is private and very responsive, and we deal with him directly. Will has lived here since May 2025 and has never had an issue that wasn't sorted straight away.

Bills:
We split water, energy and wifi, currently around £70/month each. Hot water is included in the rent. We do not pay council tax as we are students.

Location:
Mornington Crescent, Camden Town and Camden Road stations are all within about 5 minutes' walk (Northern and Mildmay lines).

Santander Cycles dock across the road.

The Royal Veterinary College is a few minutes' walk away.

Buses on Pratt Street and Camden High Street include the 24, 27, 29, 88, 134, 214, 253 and 274, plus night buses N5, N20, N27 and N29.

About Us
Will (27, M). Computer Science student at UCL, going into the final year of my undergrad as a mature student. I enjoy exploratory long walks, cycling and bouldering. I keep houseplants and am intent on slowly adding more to the common spaces. When I can find the time I like to play guitar, game & paint.

Lucy (23, F). Political Science Masters student from KCL. I spend a lot of time exploring London, going to parks and discovering new spots to go with my friends. I also like to swim and do pilates so I know some of the best work-out spots in the area. I spend a lot of time out of the house but have loved getting to know my flatmates!

We enjoy spending time together, going on walks in regents park and going to the pub, but also respect each other's privacy with no pressure to socialise.

Who We're Looking For:

- Generally tidy, organised and considerate of the people you live with

Minor exclusions: no pets (due to allergy), and no couples.
