Hey!
I'm looking for a new flatmate to share the 2-bedroom flat in Tavistock Tower, SE16 that becomes available end of July. £1400 a month, all bills included except electricity (£70-100 p/m so around £35-50 each)
The flat is in great condition and has everything you'd need. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, oven, microwave, air fryer and coffee machine. Living room has a huge floor-to-ceiling window which lets in loads of natural light, making the whole space feel really open and bright. There's also a small balcony inside the flat and a bigger balcony/terrace outside on the same floor.
The room itself is a good size, with plenty of space to make it your own. It comes with a large wardrobe and a big desk, so it's ideal if you work from home occasionally or just want a comfortable setup.
The flat is on the 4th floor and the building has a lift. The high ceilings make the whole place feel even more spacious.
The area
The location is great. There's a pub literally next door, Tesco Extra is just a 7 minutes walk away, and there are loads of parks nearby if you like getting outside. The Tube is about a 10-minute walk away, and there's a bus stop about 5-6 minutes away with buses that can get you into Central London in around 40 minutes.
About me
I'm a full-time finance professional and work and studies take up a big part of my time, so during the week I'm usually pretty busy. I like having a calm, comfortable home and generally stick to a regular routine rather than late nights. Outside of work, I spend most of my free time at the gym, spending time with my friends and I'm currently trying to learn tennis.
I'm quite clean and tidy and like keeping shared spaces looking nice. I cook at home a lot, but I'm always mindful of whoever I'm living with and try to be considerate of schedules and shared spaces.
I value open communication and think it makes sharing a home much easier. I'm respectful, reliable when it comes to bills and household responsibilities, and always happy to discuss ways to make the flat work well for both of us.
I'd ideally like to live with someone where we do a bit more than just coexist. While I respect personal space and independence, it would be nice to have a friendly connection, occasional chats, and create a home that feels welcoming and comfortable for both of us.
If you are generally on a similar wave, drop me a message and tell me a bit about yourself :)
