Furnished double room in 2-bed flat, 6 mins from Canada Water station, available early December

I’m looking for a friendly, tidy professional to take the second bedroom in my flat. My current flatmate is moving in with his gf, so here I am! The room is available from 5 December.

The room:


A good-sized furnished double with a double bed, wardrobe and bed side drawers. Big windows that lead to a shared balcony. The main bathroom is effectively yours, as my room has an ensuite.


The flat:

The flat has an open plan living room, kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is fitted with the essential appliances, including a dishwasher. It is located in a gated community of flats, where a concierge is present. It’s a calm place to come home to.

Location:


A 5–7 minute walk to Canada Water station (Jubilee line and Windrush Overground line). London Bridge is two stops away while Canary Wharf is one stop away. Surrey Quays shopping centre is a 10 min walk away and hosts a big Tesco extra. There is also a small Sainsbury’s located right outside Canada Water station. Plenty of activities you could get stuck into around the area, with padel courts close by, a big decathlon which allows you to book various activities and a food market every weekend.


Cost:


Rent: £1,115 per month
Bills: roughly £80 per month for your share (council tax, energy, water, broadband)
Deposit: 5 weeks’ rent, protected in a deposit scheme
Referencing is handled by the agent.


About me:


I’m 28, working at a trading firm in London, WFH once a week. In my spare time I dance salsa, go to the gym, love cooking and am recently getting into running. I’m easy-going and keep shared spaces clean. I’m happy to have the odd drink or dinner together, but I respect each other’s space too. Ideally it would be nice to have a nice relaxed and social environment in the flat!
