Big, spacious double room available for a summer sublet from mid September for up to 4 months for a student, traveling musician, digital nomad or professional who shares our love of London and all it has to offer and is looking for a short term let. The rent is inclusive of all bills including council tax and super fast fiberoptic broadband. Couples may be considered for an extra cost.

We're a friendly Anglo American couple who partly work from home and are out and about a lot in the evenings and often away weekends too. Our regular lodger has had a family emergency abroad and is leaving their furnished room for several months.

We're an ideal first stop for someone new to London, a touring musician/artist, or someone visiting for a fall study term. The room has a comfy double bed, a chest of drawers, wardrobe, desk, and chair. It has French doors that open onto a tiny terrace and gets wonderful light.

Our home vibe is conversational, convivial, continental, at times comedic; our flat is never spotless, and my spice cupboard is overflowing, but we try to keep things tidy.

We're 5 mins walk from Canada Water, 1 stop from Canary Wharf and 2 stops from London Bridge; 5 mins from Rotherhithe and Surrey Quays and tons of buses, including the 1, 47, 188, 381 and more. The area is peaceful and green, with lots of parks nearby and also the Surrey Quays shopping centre with a giant Tesco and more. 5 mins from the river, lots of great pubs are nearby. Lovely Greenwich is also a short bus ride or a long walk away. We even have a local farm 15 mins walk away.

The flat is a spacious 3BR with a gigantic eat-in kitchen, a patio garden and a big lounge. The room is fully furnished with a comfy double bed, a desk, a chest of drawers, a wardrobe and a desk and chair. It even has its own little terrace. Parking is available onsite at an extra cost. We're happy to provide linens etc if needed.

As we both occasionally work from home, we are ideally looking for a flatmate who mainly works or studies out of the home and who, like us, has an active social life.
