Double Room (En Suite-Ish) / Gym / Concierge

Bedroom on offer

This is a lodger agreement for my primary residence. Translation: I live here too, and I am your friendly-but-firm landlady/flat buddy.

i'm only looking for someone short term at the moment 1-3 months (possibility of extension)

The Flat:

3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms in Westferry (10 min walk to Canary Wharf Elizabeth Line – yes, the shiny new one).

You’ll be sharing with just me (lucky you).

The building comes with: gym, 24-hour concierge, security, rooftop and ground-floor gardens, a convenience store, dry cleaners, and onsite cafe.

The Room:

- Large double room being freshly repainted and decorated (new mattress, locks incoming).

- New-ish bed + new mattress + topper.

- A huge triple wardrobe, newish bookshelf/drawers combo, and your bathroom is basically private. Technically it’s the hallway bathroom, but I’ll only use it occasionally—like a 90/10 split in your favour.

The Common Spaces:

Living room = massive, stylish, and borderline magical. Think Hogwarts Common Room vibes but with Timothy Oulton, House of Hackney, and SMEG appliances instead of floating candles. It’s so cozy it once starred in influencer photoshoots.

Kitchen: all new appliances, washer/dryer, loads of space.

Balcony: 3rd floor, south-facing, proper view, hanging egg chair, new balcony set. Hot water bottles and blankets are great for winter use.

About Me:

Girlie in banking

Office 5 days a week.

Into yoga, gym, travel, and keeping life moving.

About You:

25+ woman, professional, chill, has her own friends and social life, but also down for the odd wine-and-netflix or spontaneous night out.

Must work in an office at least 3–4 days a week (sorry you lucky remote workers).

Open-minded, because my friends are a glorious mix of backgrounds (race, religion, sexuality) and my home = safe space.

One non-negotiable: no pork/pig products in the flat. (Yes, people have walked away over this. Apparently bacon loyalty runs deep.)

The Legal Bit:

I’m not a commercial landlord, just a person with a spare room and no one visiting for a while.

You’ll be classed as an “excluded occupier” under a license agreement (solicitor-drafted lodger contract).

3–6 month fixed term, rolling monthly after that.
