Please read the criteria before enquiring. This is a Tower Hamlets affordable tenancy and the landlord sets strict eligibility rules. You need to live or work in Tower Hamlets, be in full time permanent employment, earn roughly £30,000 to £40,000 (the household cap is £75,000 and my flatmate earns £35,000), not be claiming benefits, and not own property anywhere. If any of those don't apply then referencing will fail, so please don't enquire.

The flat is 2 bed, 1 bathroom, with a balcony facing the Wharf. Unfurnished, modern building with on site management. Walking distance to Canary Wharf station for the Jubilee line, Elizabeth line and DLR.

£875 a month, which is half the rent. £1,009.62 deposit and a £403 reservation fee. Bills on top.

You'd be sharing with Luke, who works full time, is tidy and easy to live with. He'll be doing the viewings and has the final say. The area is one of the most stunning in London.

The landlord's agent handles referencing directly, so you can be put forward without going through the Tower Hamlets register or the GLA portal. It takes a few days to four weeks depending on how quickly your employer responds, so we need someone in the process by early October for a 1 November start.
