I’m renting out a furnished ensuite double room in a modern two-bed flat in Canning Town, available from Saturday 4 July to 31 August.

The flat is very well located for anyone working in Canary Wharf or the City. It is less than a five-minute walk to the tube station, two stops from Canary Wharf, and less than 30 minutes to the City.

The room is a furnished double room with a wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table, plus a fully private ensuite shower room. The kitchen and living room are shared, and the flat also benefits from a balcony, lift, secure entry, reception, post room, gym access and coworking spaces. There is also a washing machine / dryer and dishwasher.

Please note: the bedroom and ensuite photos are inventory photos taken before the room was furnished. The room is currently furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table. I can also share a video walkthrough of another flat in the building with the exact same layout for additional context. The furnishings / finishes may differ slightly, but it gives a good sense of the room, ensuite and overall layout.

You’d be sharing with me. I also work in Canary Wharf, so this would suit someone on a summer internship, work placement or short-term professional contract who wants a convenient and comfortable base in London.

Rent is £1,400 per calendar month, with all bills included. The July rent will be pro-rated, so you would not pay for 1-3 July. No deposit is required.

For interns, I’m happy to be flexible on payment timing depending on salary payment dates. For non-interns, rent would be paid monthly. As no deposit is required, I’d just ask for an internship or employment contract as proof of ability to pay.

Weekend viewings are available, either in person or by video.
