A comfortable double room is becoming available in a lovely third-floor flatshare on the Highbury & Islington / Canonbury border, one of the leafiest and loveliest bits of North London.

The flat is a 6-minute walk from Highbury & Islington station and within easy reach of Upper Street, Highbury Fields, Canonbury Square, Newington Green and Clissold Park.

The room overlooks the shared garden and includes a built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers, and mirror.

The flat also benefits from a large shared living room, spacious bathroom, access to a shared garden, and excellent local cafés, pubs, restaurants and transport links

About your flatmate:

I'm a 35-year-old musician and composer originally from Los Angeles, now based in London. I'm tidy, respectful, easy-going and keen to maintain a calm, welcoming home. I work from home 1–2 days a week but am often out working on concerts, performances and other music projects.

The ideal flatmate would be friendly, considerate and looking for a relaxed place to call home. Creative types are very welcome, though by no means essential.

Bills are not included. We currently have a fortnightly cleaner and there is some flexibility around household arrangements depending on preferences.

I've lived in many parts of London and genuinely think this area offers one of the best combinations of being lively, green, well-connected and peaceful.
