Large double bedroom off Essex Road

Hiya,

Our housemate is moving out of our 4 bedroom house in Islington and we're looking for a lovely new person to join us. Ideal move in date is 8th November 2026 (but can be a bit flexible for the right person so do get in contact!)

The flat is a newer build with shared living room, 2 bathrooms (you'll be sharing with 1 other person), kitchen, garden and 4 reasonably sized double bedrooms. It's double glazed and the warmest house I've lived in London (in case you we're wondering for the up and coming winter!). It's about a 5 minute walk to Canonbury Station (Overground), 15 minutes to Highbury & Islington with Dalston and Angel a 20 minute walk away too. There are lots of local shops, including Sainsbury's and Tesco, nearby as well as pubs and parks.

The room is furnished with all the furniture you see in the picture except desk and little plant stand.

You'll be sharing with 3 women in our 30's and the best cat, Doris. I'm a friendly Northerner working in marketing and also a ceramicist and musician. Alex and Georgina are Greek and both work as facade engineers. We're a creative bunch who also love the theatre, cinema and hanging with friends. We're very chilled, clean, optimistic people and can be social people at times, so looking for someone like minded who might want to watch a film once in a while but we are also independent too.

This isn't a party house, although we do like having people over, and we want someone who wants to help make the house a home, is clean and respectful and will help love Doris too. Ideally a women (sorry guys) and someone of a similar age working professionally too. We're liberal, lgbtq+ friendly, 

Flat is owned by an independent landlord who leaves us to it unless needed!

Rent is £999 a month
There will be a deposit of £712.50
Bills are around £130 a month.
