Looking for a new flatmate! Abbeville Rd, Clapham

We are looking for a new flat mate to join us in our delightful flat on the very desirable Abbeville Road (our third flat mate is sadly leaving us to live with her boyfriend).

One of us has lived here since March 2018 and the other moved in in March 2019. The flat is on the second floor of a Victorian terrace, and is split level - all bedrooms are on a different floor. It has three double bedrooms and two bathrooms, a large living area with a fantastic ceiling height, and a really good sized kitchen (which sits upstairs and overlooks our living space, adding to its charm). The flat is also fully furnished, so there’s no need to worry about bringing anything specific.

The room available is £800 a month (with the addition of about £150 a month for bills, internet and a weekly cleaner).

Situated on Abbeville Road, we have the benefit of being about a 7 minute walk from Clapham Common station, and a couple of minutes from a bus stop which connects us to most of London. Abbeville Road itself is hugely desirable, with its own high street of lovely shops, restaurants and food stores. For those that don’t know, Clapham itself is also a fantastic, young professional area.

We are looking for a flat mate that is friendly, fun and enjoys a glass of wine and take away on a friday/any day of the week.

I work in a bank in Canary Wharf, and Suzie works in executive search (so naturally during the weekdays we work relatively long hours) but we are usually all around to spend time together a couple of nights a week at least.

We will be holding viewings in the coming weeks in the quest to find our new house mate in December. We hope we can find someone who will love living in our flat as much as we do!
