The Room:
En Suite w/shower, double bed, two massive built-in wardrobes with loads of storage and views of the skyline. Bed and wardrobes included; desk will be removed (or is available for £50). Free gated car parking & bike storage. Move in date is flexible (feel free to ask), but ideally mid to end of November 2020.
The Apartment:
Huge private roof terrace, BBQ and patio furniture - perfect for lazing in the sun. The flat is also on the top floor (third) which means we also have access to the roof of the entire flat complex which has incredible views of London (see pics). The roof is great for parties, fireworks night etc...a friend even held a yoga class up there with 20 people. There is also a communal garden downstairs by the gated parking. The lounge has two 3-seater sofas and a TV. The kitchen has all the usual, plus a dishwasher. Each room has its own bathroom.
Location:
- Clapham Common is less than 10 min walk & Battersea Park is 12 mins. The parks were a godsend during lockdown!
- Tesco Express, Sainsburys & Costcutter at the top of the road (2min walk)
- Bars/Restaurants: Loads… On our road we have Brunch places, an authentic Italian, lively pub, steak and tapas restaurant. Lavender Hill has loads more places and Clapham Old Town is a 10 min walk.
Housemates:
- Tom (31, Consultant) and Rob (31, Commercial Manager). We are both pretty sociable (BBQ’s, nights out, pub nights, meals out etc), but also have our own friendship groups. We both WFH at the moment and have desks in our rooms.

- 8 min walk to Queenstown Road Station (direct train into Waterloo - 8 mins)
- 13 min walk / 8 min bus to Clapham Common (Northern Line)

Boring stuff:
- Length of contract: Tenancy expires in May 2021, but it has been possible to extend multiple times. Tenants can also terminate with two months’ notice (we do not intend to leave early and would consider extending again). L&Q are the Managing Agent.
- Bills: On average c.£70pm (inc. Netflix, Cleaner, Wandsworth Council Tax, TV licence, gas, elec & water)
