The bedroom

This house share is more a home than most. After 7 years I’m leaving having bought my own place and my lovely housemates need an amazing replacement. All professionals (teacher, banker, hospitality) in their 30s with their own lives, friends and interests. We seek a woman who is tidy, friendly and social and around the same age. While we don’t socialise in each other’s pockets, we do have bbqs and Sunday roasts so would like someone who wants a friendly home environment.

The room is a double ( queen bed with a brand new mattress and drawers build in for storage) in the attic with views of the garden. It’s at the back of the house so quiet. It comes with a bedside locker and large chest of drawers. There are 2 rails for clothes and a single wardrobe outside as well as full use of a double wardrobe in our spare room (yes we have one for house guests which is under this room so you literally hear no one). The room will be freshly painted before a new tenant moves in. It won’t fit a desk but the spare room is being updated with a futon and desk so it can be used to Wfh on some days and still be a guest room when needed!

The house has a separate living room and kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine, dryer), a loo (W/shower) upstairs and a second bathroom on the ground floor with a full bath. There is a conservatory too which we use to store bikes and workout equipment and a separate freezer for all that batch cooking! The garden is gorgeous and well kept. Needs some pot plants!

Bills are £130 and include wifi, energy, weekly cleaner and house essentials (loo tool, washing detergent and the Christmas tree!)
