The room:

Double en-suite on the top floor of a 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom house, located equally between Clapham Common and Clapham Junction.

Spacious and bright. Plenty of built in storage and room for a desk if you WFH.

The biggest selling point for me has always been the privacy. You essentially have the entire top floor to yourself, with the bedroom and your own adjacent private bathroom, so it feels much more private than a typical house share.

Large communal kitchen, dining and living room, plus a small outdoor space equipped with a BBQ for the long summer evenings!

The location:

The house is in a great spot:
- Around 10 minutes’ walk to Clapham Common tube
- Around 10 minutes’ walk to Clapham Junction
- Just 2 minutes from Clapham Common

Plenty of pubs, restaurants, cafés, gyms and shops nearby. Easy transport into central London while still being on a quiet residential street.
Council tax is Wandsworth Band F

The housemates.

You’d be living with three genuinely lovely people:

Kendra – Our resident gym-goer and bookworm. Equally happy getting a workout in, relaxing with a good book or opening a bottle of wine at the end of the week. Very easy-going and always up for a catch-up in the kitchen.

Kwame – Loves cooking, plays pretty much every sport imaginable, and is a great conversationalist. Whether he’s chatting about football, telling you about whatever festival is on that weekend, or unexpectedly treating the house to a home cooked meal, he’s always great company.

Emily – The sunshine of the house and the social butterfly of the group. She loves meeting new people, is always welcoming and brings a really positive energy to the house.

It’s a friendly and social household, but not a party house. Everyone has their own lives and routines, while still enjoying chatting in the kitchen, having a drink together or the occasional house outing.

I’m genuinely sad to be leaving. I’ve had a great time living here and will miss both the house and the people in it. But its time for the next chapter as I’m moving in with my girlfriend.

Availability

The room is available from 20th November 2026.

The landlord last increased the rent in January 2026 and has advised that a rent review will take place ahead of January 2027, so anyone interested should be aware that the rent may be reviewed at that point.

We will be hosting viewings October 10th between 9-11am and potentially the following week. Looking to move quickly.
