HUGE .... double room in large Victorian house

We have an extremely large double bedroom (largest in the house!) That is available to rent on a long term basis.

The bedroom is on the front of the property and gets tons of natural light, it comes furnished with a double bed (with storage space underneath) wardrobes, bedside tables, and large chest of drawers. It also has a lovely feature fireplace.

The property itself is a large Victorian terrace with basement and attic (great for storage), big living/dining room, guest WC, and a great breakfast kitchen with conservatory (my fav room..) that leads out onto a sunny paved garden with plenty of loungers and seating.

Upstairs there are three bedrooms and a bathroom with a great shower (which we all share). There is 'on street parking' outside, which you would need a general parking permit from Lambeth council (if you want to leave a car there during the daytime).

The monthly rent for the room is £1050 and the bills work out to around £250 each person, per month and this includes Council Tax, Gas, Water, Electricity, TV License, Wi-Fi etc.. we also have a cleaner that comes in every week.

We are well located for public transport with Clapham North station around a five minute walk, and Stockwell station around 10 mins away.

You will be sharing with myself (Helen) and Matt, we are both professionals in early 40's and both work pretty long hours during the week, at the weekends, Matt loves to travel and is often away on holiday (he has a travel addiction!).

I sing (or attempt to...) in a choir (a funky one - not a church one...lol), and over the past few years have started taking 'Artistic Rollerskating' lessons' so most weekends I'm down in Hyde Park, showing off my skills.. I also make a mean Margarita!

I also have a small 6 year old German Spitz/Pomeranian called 'Foxy Lady' who I ‘Co-parent’ for half of the week, I have her at the house over the weekends.

I have lived here for almost ten years and Matt over eleven years, our third housemate Jack will be sadly leaving us to move into is own place that he has just purchased, he has been living here for around three years.

The room will be available from 17th October, ideally we are looking for someone who will be able to move in as close to this date as possible, and keen to have another housemate who is friendly and relaxed, (and not adverse to testing my cocktail creations once in a while)

We deal with the landlord directly, so there are no agents to go through.
