Large Double Room in a house near Clapham Common

We have a room available for the start of our new tenancy on 14 July. It is a mixed-house (2 guys, 2 girls) and we are hoping to keep that mix for the new tenancy.

We are looking for a friendly and tidy guy to take over the spare room on the ground floor and join us on the new tenancy. We are all friendly people and whilst we all have our own lives, we'd like someone to join us who fancies a drink down the pub or even a sociable night in at the house.

We will be compiling some names and arranging viewings from 17 June onwards, so please do reach out if you're interested with a bit of a description about yourself.

🛏️ About the Room:

The room is large and originally unfurnished, but the current tenant is happy to sell some of the furniture including the bed (and mattress), bedside tables and wardrobe. There is also a downstairs toilet opposite the room that is mostly used by the downstairs tenant. The bathroom is located upstairs and is shared by 3 tenants, it is rare that schedules for the bathroom clash but the downstairs toilet will give you more flexibility.

🏡 About the House:

The room is part of a lovely 4-bed property less than 5 minutes from Clapham Common Station. The house is large with modern finishes, 2 spare rooms to store things in and a large open plan kitchen and living area. We have great landlords and even a garden to enjoy during the summer.

You would be joining myself (Sean, 28), Vidhi (24) and Liv (26) for the start of our new tenancy. I am an Architect, currently working in Elephant & Castle, Vidhi works in insurance near Blackfriars, and Liv is an interior designer based near Borough.

💰 Bills & Expenses:

The rent for the room is £1230 per month, plus £140 to cover all the bills and other household amenities. The total monthly rent for the room is £1370.

The deposit required for signing on the new tenancy in July will be £1730.77.

The money for the bills goes into a household account and covers all the house utilities as well as a bi-weekly cleaner who cleans all the bathrooms and the shared living spaces.
