Furnished double room in Clapham Common

your room

I have a spare room in a newly renovated 2 bedroom flat in Clapham Common. I'm looking for a flatmate to take a double bedroom starting beginning of September onwards (I'm flexible on move-in dates) on a rolling 1 month basis.

Me: I'm 28yrs old and work in finance (usually in the office 3 days a week). I'm currently rediscovering Clapham having spent most of my time away since end of 2024 (travelling then renovating the flat). I love a chat, pub trip, running, reality TV, cooking, spin and HIIT classes. I'm a people person but I'm also respectful of personal space as quite a few of my friends are introverts :)

Who I'm looking for: female, 25-35yrs old, non-smoker, clean and friendly. It would be great to go to some classes or drinks together, or do a day trip or two outside of London (as I have a car!)

The flat: a couple of minutes' walk from Clapham Common station (closest bus stop is Park Hill) and it's opposite the King & Co pub. Closest gym is Oncore, but there are lots of others nearby too. A big Sainsburys is also a 1 minute walk away. Even though it's so close to Clapham High Street, it's surprisingly quiet which I LOVE as I'm a light sleeper. Clapham Junction is 20mins by bus, Abbeville village is 10mins walk and Brixton is 20mins walk. I still need to replace upgrade some living/dining room furniture so bear with me!

The room: a double and I currently have the bed frame & mattress, a desk, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table in there. There's also some shelving on the walls. The rest of the flat has my room, kitchen, living/dining room, bathroom and toilet. Everything is newly renovated.

T&Cs: this is a rolling 1 month agreement and the room will be available from the beginning of September until the end of January 2027 (possibly longer), with some flexibility around these dates. The cost is £950 excluding bills (£150-ish each, I can give you a breakdown).
