A double room is available in a lovely two-bedroom, split-level flat just 4 minutes’ walk from Clapham Common Underground Station (Northern line) and only 2 minutes from the beautiful green spaces of Clapham Common. Perfect for someone who wants a well-connected location with the Common right on their doorstep!

A little about the flatshare

I’m looking for a friendly, tidy female professional who has experience living in a shared home and is looking for more than just somewhere to sleep. Ideally, you’ll enjoy having a chat, sharing the occasional glass of wine and building a friendly flatshare while respecting each other’s space.

A little about me: I’m 30, South African and work for a pension fund in the City. I work from home most of the week, heading into the office 1–2 days a week. I’m very house-proud and like to keep our home clean, tidy and welcoming. I’m also super friendly and love catching up with my flatmates over a pub trip and a glass of wine or two! 🍷

💷 Bills and costs

One of the biggest perks is that heating is included in the rent, helping to keep household bills nice and low.

Other bills include Wi-Fi, electricity/gas (excluding heating), water and council tax. These currently amount to approximately £150 per person per month at a fixed rate.

🛏️ A bit about the room

The room has a large built-in wardrobe, plus your own additional storage cupboard just outside the bedroom. You’ll also have the huge storage area that runs underneath the entire staircase, so there’s plenty of space for all your belongings without having to cram everything into your bedroom!

The room comes furnished with everything you see in the photos, but you’re more than welcome to swap out any furniture you don’t like and make the space your own. 😊

The lounge has a 65-inch TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+, so you’ll have plenty to watch!

📋 Referencing requirements

To be eligible, you’ll need to:

* Earn at least £30,000 per year.
* Have the right to rent in England and be able to provide the necessary evidence.
* Provide 3–6 months of bank statements.
* Provide a reference from your previous landlord.
* Provide an employment reference from your current employer.

📅 Move-in date and viewings

The move-in date is flexible, with the successful applicant able to move in anytime between 1 and 30 November.

Viewings will take place on 18 and 25 October, between 9am and 12pm.
