Double room to rent in friendly Clapham sharehouse

Hi! Sadly our lovely housemate Jayne is leaving as she’s moving in with her partner! See a bit more about the room below:

The room is on the 2nd floor of the house and shares a bathroom with one other. On the ground floor is a second bathroom room, kitchen and little utility room, as well as access to our stunning patio garden at the back. We are super lucky to have the garden and often sit out the back in the sunshine through summer! The room itself is a good size, and comes with a double bed, mattress, storage space under the bed, a chest of drawers, bedside table, a large closet (right outside the room) and a wall shelf. Hoping we can find someone who's going to enjoy living here as much as I have, the girls are the loveliest and the house is great!

We will be looking for someone who will take over the contract from the 1st of August. We would like someone who is planning on living at least the full year (if not longer). Just to note, this isn’t ideal for someone who works from home more than 2- 3 days per week.

Onto the other housemates, there are 3 of us all aged between 26-29. Sophie is a paediatric nurse, Molly (me) is an events coordinator, and Alice is a music therapist. We all love living in the house, we all have our own lives but like to come together on the regular for a social and little evening debriefs of whatever joys have come our way! We keep the house tidy and clean and would like someone who is on the same page as us and wants to make this house a home!

The house is a short walking distance to both Clapham Junction and Wandsworth Town train stations (less than 10 minutes either way) and super close to the resuterants and bars of both st John’s hill, Northcote road and the Tonsley’s with Southside shopping centre only 15 minute walk away.

Rent: £845 p/month

Bills we split as a house and roughly come to £100-£130 depending on the time of year etc (we each take lead on one – yours would be WiFi but chuck everything on splitwise and settle up monthly

Deposit: £709
