House Share in Battersea

We are looking for a new housemate to move into a 3-bed terraced house with a garden in Battersea. Our current housemate is sadly moving out, so we are looking for someone to take over her lease with a view to signing a new contract at the end of September. Available from 29th August.

You would have a furnished double bedroom, and the house itself has 3 double bedrooms, a kitchen, washing machine, sitting/dining room, shared bathroom, and a spacious garden.

The room has 2x fitted wardrobes, a double bed, new windows, and bedside table. You would need to bring your own desk if needed.

The house is in a great location. It is well-connected to transport links: a 10-minute walk from Clapham Junction, and near several bus stops. The nearest tube stations are the Northern line branches at Clapham Common or Battersea Power Station (each 20 mins away).

There are multiple supermarkets (Asda and Lidl) within a 5-minute walk, and several others on Northcote Road (Waitrose, M&S, etc). The area has plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants, and pubs.

The house is also near several green spaces: Clapham Common (10-minute walk), Battersea Park (15 mins), and Wandsworth Common (20 mins).

We are two mid-20s professionals who have been living in the house since October 2022. We are looking for someone who is social and friendly, tidy, and will contribute to making the house homely. We also have a great local pub which we often go to together.

- Rent: £1025 per month (plus council tax and utilities; typically £100 per month)
- Reference/proof of employment, reference from current landlord, and deposit (1 month's rent) required.
