A single room for rent in Battersea SW11 in a flat located on the second floor, which is also the top floor. The building is located in a quiet cul de sac.
For single occupancy, the room has a built-in wardrobe, bed, desk, and chair.
Communal areas are shared with two flatmates: large kitchen with dining area, with all the household appliances, plus dishwasher, and a separate toilet and a bathroom.
I am a live-in landlord, and we all help keep the communal areas tidy and clean. A cleaner comes for a regular deeper clean.
One of the biggest train stations Clapham Junction is about 5-minute walking distance, supermarkets Asda and Lidl are also within a similar distance. Te nearest high street is about a 10-minute walk, there are pubs, shops, and various restaurants.

The monthly rent excludes council tax, electricity, water and gas. Bills are around £100 per month per person.
Short renting is possible (ideal for people to have a short break in London), but the price will vary.

All the lodgers must have legal status in the UK and proof of stable income (not for the short letting).
The room will be available from 5 March 2026. You are welcome to make an appointment to view it.

Transport to central London by train: 2 stops from Clapham Junction to London Victoria or Waterloo Station, the stations are connected to the London Underground system.
Bus: 19 44 45 49 77 170 219 319 344 345 all directly go into different parts of central London. 37 39 337 go in different directions outside London.
Overground: the train network gives access to local and national networks.
To the airport: There is a direct train to Gatwick Airport from Clapham Junction (a 30-minute journey). Bus 49 and 349 only take 10 minutes to go to South Kensington Underground Station, The Piccadilly line from there will take you to all the terminals at Heathrow Airport. Or take the train to Victoria Station and then take the coach to Heathrow Airport terminals 1 2 and 3, the inner airport train will then take you to terminals 4 and 5.
The Imperial College is also nearby. The famous Battersea Park and Battersea Bridge are also within walking distance. Battersea Bridge leads into the Chelsea Embankment area and Kings Road.
