Large Double Room off Clapham High Street

Hey everyone! Sadly, our lovely flatmate Bronte is moving in with her partner, so we’re on the hunt for someone great to take her place in the flat.

We’re looking for someone tidy, sociable, and easy-going. Not just someone to fill a room, but someone who’d enjoy becoming part of the home and hopefully a friend too.

You’d be living with Nick (South African, works in Digital Marketing) and Matt (Australian, Cardiac Physiologist). We’ve both been in the flat for around 4 years and like to keep things relaxed, friendly, and social. We enjoy making the most of the SW London social scene, whether that’s heading out for drinks and dinners, watching sport, or staying in for a chilled night of questionable reality TV on the sofa.

The flat itself has a spacious lounge with a big-screen TV, ideal for lazy weekends and hangover recovery sessions. The kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you’d expect, although sadly no dishwasher, so there’s still a bit of teamwork required at the sink! No need to bring pots, pans, or cutlery either, as we already have the essentials covered. We’re very house-proud and keep the communal areas clean, plus we have a weekly cleaner as an added bonus.

Location-wise, it’s hard to beat. We’re just off the High Street, under a 4-minute walk to Clapham North Tube and even closer to Clapham High Street Overground. There’s a local Sainsbury’s at the end of the road, plus a larger one nearby with an Argos inside. We’re surrounded by great pubs, restaurants, coffee spots, and two gyms within walking distance. Clapham Common is also nearby and becomes the go-to place in summer.

The room is a furnished double and comes with:
• Double bed
• Cupboard
• Bedside table
• Chest of drawers
• Two mirrors

There’s also currently a desk and computer chair in the room, perfect if you work from home, which can be bought from the current flatmate if you’d like to keep them.
