Lovely Double Room in Large House - Clapham

Hello! Our lovely housemate is moving in with her sister, so we're looking for someone to take over her tenancy from 11th August until 4th November, with the option to stay on afterwards (which would be our preference!).

Current housemates are Karen (31), Michelle (31) and Danika (26). Karen works in tech, Michelle works in aviation and Danika works in law.

We live on Hubert Grove (SW9), which is a super convenient location:

* 5-ish minute walk to Clapham North Tube
* 9 minute walk to Clapham High Street Overground
* 12 minute walk to Brixton
* 14 minute walk to Stockwell

We're looking for a housemate who'll become our friend, not just someone we live with. We all have our own lives, but we also make time to catch up in the evenings and at weekends when we're around.

Karen and Danika currently work from home 1–2 days a week (usually Mondays and Fridays). We have a large dining table that's perfect for working, as well as space in the kitchen or bedrooms if you prefer. We're also lucky enough to be about a 15-minute walk from Clapham Common, plus we have a south-facing garden with a BBQ!

The house is homely, spacious, and we like to keep our shared spaces clean and tidy, so it's important that anyone moving in feels the same. We also have a fortnightly cleaner, but everyone does their bit in between.

The room:

Furnished double bedroom
Access to 2 shared bathrooms (both with showers, one with a bath)
£980 per month

Bills (council tax, water, internet, gas & electricity, fortnightly cleaner and Netflix) aren't included and come to around £130 per month.

Parking is available on the street with a resident's permit (permit restrictions apply Monday–Friday; weekends are free).
