Large Double Room - Clapham South

Me and my house mate Zoe are looking for somebody to move into our 3 bedroom flat in Clapham South!

Me (31) and Zoe (28) met on spare room over three years ago and we are now really good friends! We’re pretty chilled people, and we would like someone that enjoys hanging out with a glass of wine, but also enjoys their own space ☺️

I’ve lived in the flat for 4 years and Zoe has lived here for 3 years, and we would love for a like minded girlie to move in with us. We are busy in the week so tend to do our own thing, but will hang out in the lounge with a TV show after work, and we love a picnic / pub eve / day in the pear tree on the weekend!

We also have communal gardens, and we have a back door that goes right out to them so we spend time WFH in the garden on a picnic blanket in the summer which is lovely 🌞

The flat is a 5 min walk from Clapham South tube station, & is opposite Clapham Common - stunning for the summer!

You will have a double bedroom with a bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. It is the largest room out of three bedrooms, and has lots of space for extra furniture (desk etc!).

The rent is £1081 a month, and bills come to approx £100 a month.

A deposit of approx £1200 is required (need to confirm exact amount, but it’s around this), and will be collected by the landlord via Open Rent as part of the referencing process etc. Full referencing checks will be completed by the landlord - including affordability and a credit check.

Due to renters rights there isn’t a fixed tenancy, but the contract will be a joint tenancy and we’d like someone who is interested in staying for a while and isn’t going to treat our home as a short-term let:

I’m a mental health practitioner for children and I work in schools most of the week, with some WFH. Zoe WFH on Fridays, and works in the office most days.

New contact is due to start on the 1st August, which is when the first month of rent will begin.
