It is part of a newly developed basement conversion of a double fronted Victorian house. It has its own entrance from the street and has been finished to a very high and modern standard.

There is a large open plan lounge with fully fitted kitchen (with dishwasher and all mod coms) and dining area and a TV. There is also a small utility room with a separate washing machine and dryer.

The other bedroom is also available for rental to a similar female professional. That room has its own en-suite so will not be using your separate bathroom.

We have 5 children aged 12 to 19 and a small golden doodle, so there will be a high level of noise at times to be expected coming from the floor above. This has been reflected in the price.

There is a 3rd smaller bedroom in the basement converted into a media room for our exclusive use. My husband and I only go into the basement media room with prior warning on Friday nights and Sunday afternoons.

The street we live on is residential and very quiet with generally plenty of parking (resident permit is required). Convenience stores are only 6mns walk away around Clapham South tube station. We are also 2 mns walk away form the huge expanse of Clapham Common, which is very popular with joggers.
