Come to share our lovely 3 bedroom flat within old Victorian building just off the trendy Lower Clapton Road.
The flat is brilliantly located to get around London for Liverpool Street, Angel and anywhere around Hackney (Dalston, London Fields, etc) with Hackney Downs station (10 min walk) which get to you Liverpool Street in 10 mins and Hackney Central (12 min walk) for the overground.
You will be living myself, a cis-gay man who works for a Cocktail Brand in North London . I also run a small LGBT clubnight, have an unhealthy obsession with collecting 7” records and like to shoot portraits in my spare time too.
The other flatmate is Kathryn who is a cis-female queer POC. She’s has been working in the arts. She is into anything creative, big on music and poetry. Loves to cook a lot (for the whole flat of course).
We have a digital kitty which we manage using HyperJar which we would all have our own card to access and to help pay for communal items without the stress.
Ideally we’re looking for a fellow LGBTQ+ person who is someone that wants to live more communally, cooking together, sharing food and creating a nice safe space for everyone
The room is a pretty good size and gets great light during the day, has built-in shelving, room for a wardrobe and has enough space for a desk/home-working space if needed.
That said our living room is massive and has a nice dining table that can easily be used during the day for home-working. Failing that, the hallway is also huge so could easily setup a little temporary work space there too.
The agent will normally furnish with beds if requested, but the flat is leased as unfurnished.
The flat is pretty accessible as it's on the ground floor. There is a moderate step to get into the building and another at the door to the flat. Once you're in the whole flat is on one level and is pretty easy to walk around.
The rent is £783.33 per month and Bills are (approx) £150 each. They ask for a months rent as a deposit at £783.33.
If you’re employed, you would need to provide 3-6 months of payslips and some other items to the agent. Those getting universal credit/housing benefit or those who are self-employed, would need to have a UK guarantor who would then be able to pass the agencies credit referencing checks.
Feel free to send me a message if you’re interested. We’re looking to do viewings ASAP.
We can also easily arrange a video chat/guided viewing if you wish too.
