Hello ☀️ We’re looking for a new flatmate for our lovely 3-bed flat overlooking the River Lea/Marshes by Millfields Park. 10 mins walk from Clapton station, 20 mins from the Castle cinema on Chatsworth Road, and less than 10 mins from the excellent Anchor and Hope pub.

Big living room and open kitchen, plus we’re very lucky to have an amazing riverside balcony and garden, which is lovely in summer.
The room is on the first floor, and gets great morning light. It is rather cosy, so it might not suit someone who works from home full time. It comes with a bed frame and mattress, a wardrobe, and a desk. There’s a shared toilet&washbasin on the first floor but since there are three toilets in the house, most of the time it would be mainly you using it!

We’re both near or in our early thirties; Callie (she/her) is currently doing a poetry PhD and is into live music, art, various literary-related pursuits, with a debilitating weakness for increasingly overpriced coffees and pastries.

Laura (they/she) is a librarian and every bit the stereotype. They share Callie's interest in gigs, galleries and baked goods, and enjoy feeding the ducks on the canal outside our lovely home.

We’re both pretty easy going, it’s a calm feeling place with no drama, which is important to us. Someone who is keen to maintain tidy communal spaces and pitch in with cleaning is important and we generally strive for a nice chill energy in the house.

We’re looking for a flatmate we’d really get on with and enjoy occasionally hanging out, who is on a similar wavelength and wants to make the flat a home too. We’re both quite busy but enjoy chats in the living room (when our different schedules allow!), the occasional excursion/gathering etc.

We’re hoping to find someone soon, with a planned move-in date of 15th July, though there is flexibility to move in a bit sooner. With this in mind, we’re looking at doing viewings very soon.
