I am letting the bedroom in my one bedroom flat with the sole use of the flat most of the time.
I am abroad for extended periods for work and come to London only from time to time.
When I am in London I will stay in the living room, which has sofa bed. Otherwise you can use it as your living room, and be the only tenant in the flat.
