We are two designers who have been obsessively doing up this flat, which has become a sanctuary, and a great central base in London. It's the top floor of an old jewellery factory, like those nearby on Hatton Garden. The top floors were always designed to catch lots of light since that's where the jewellers' benches were situated. The whole building has a great feeling. There is a linked design studio with a fold out bed on the floor below which can be used by arrangement.

The flat is opposite a park. We're inside 10 min walk to Angel or Old Street or Farringdon. Five mins walk to Barbican. 15 mins to Tate Modern.

All of our neighbours are great.
