I am a warm and friendly Scots Lass. I live and have lived for 20 years in a beautiful three-storey mews house tucked quietly away in the Mount Pleasant / Exmouth Market area of WC1. It’s one of those rare Central London spots that feels slightly secret - calm and private, yet minutes from everything.

The house sits just behind the street with a lovely courtyard that friends have nicknamed “the secret garden”. It’s a peaceful little haven in the middle of the city.

Location-wise, it’s hard to beat:
• 5 minutes’ walk to the buzz of Exmouth Market
• 7 minutes to Chancery Lane Tube
• 12 minutes to Farringdon
• Easy walking distance to Clerkenwell, Barbican and Islington

There are fantastic bus, train and tube links, and endless coffee shops, restaurants and wine bars on the doorstep. Sadler’s Wells is also just a short stroll away.

The home itself is warm and relaxed. I enjoy good conversation and the occasional glass of wine in the kitchen, but I equally value personal space and a calm atmosphere. It’s important that whoever joins the house feels comfortable and at ease here.

I share the space with two affectionate, well-behaved cats, who come and go as they please.. but would never enter your room ( if you close the door).
