The room is bright and comfortably furnished, with a king-sized bed, desk, garden views, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Bedlinen and towels can be provided if needed. The private ensuite bathroom has a modern walk-in shower, a bath looking up to the sky, and is in excellent condition.

The house is a sunny, stylish two-bedroom detached bungalow, set back from the road with a gated entrance, private parking and a large garden. It has a calm, luxurious feel, with wooden floors, skylights, French windows, good natural light and wifi throughout.

It’s in a wonderfully quiet spot with no immediate neighbours, yet is still within easy walking distance of Crouch End Broadway, Parkland Walk, cafés, shops and transport links.

You’ll be sharing with me and my dog Ziggy, a very well-behaved 9-year-old cockapoo. I’m away quite a lot, so you’ll often have the place to yourself.

The room is available for a minimum period of three months, with the possibility of extending.

Rent: £1000 per month, plus bills (£400 per month)
Deposit: One month’s rent.
